The NBME updated Step 3 in March 2026. Short version:

Don't drastically cut your MCQ study time just because there are fewer CCS cases. The MCQ section timing is the same.

CCS is the most under-prepared section. Start with the free official Primum demo, then learn a system before grinding cases.
